About Us

Founded 2024

Dog House Game Studio is a one-person shop. No office, no roadmap committee — just a developer who noticed a problem on the road and decided to fix it.

Who we are

Dog House Game Studio is operated by Steve Coker, a solo developer building small, useful apps and games from the ground up — from idea to app store listing to support inbox.

How it started

The studio's first real product, PitStopPal, started as a simple question: which gas station up ahead actually has a clean bathroom? That question turned into an app, and the app turned into the reason this studio exists. I mean come on, who doesn't want to know before they go?!

What we build

We're not trying to build everything. We build small, useful tools (and maybe some fun games) that solve one problem well, ship them ourselves, and keep them running. PitStopPal is live on iOS and Android today, helping road trippers find and rate bathrooms at gas stations, truck stops, and rest areas before they ever pull in.

Everything here is built, tested, and supported by the same person who answers the support email. If something's broken, it gets fixed by someone who actually uses the app.

Where we're headed

PitStopPal is the first stop, not the last. The studio is built to grow slowly and deliberately — one app worth trusting at a time, instead of ten worth ignoring.
